5 Super-Effective Remedies For Lip Pimple Can Be Healed

  1. Lemon


  • First, wash the lips with water.
  • Gently rub your lips with a soft towel to remove the excess dirt.
  • Cut a fresh lemon and squeeze the juice into a bowl.
  • Apply the lemon juice with a cotton ball on the pimples.
  • Let it dry for 10 minutes.
  • Rinse the skin with cool water and pat the lips dry with a soft towel.
  • Repeat the process twice daily for a week to reduce lip pimples.
Lemon juice is rich in citric acid which pushes the oil out of your skin and makes a pimple dry. It also acts as an antiseptic to reduce the growth of bacteria in the skin.

Caution: If lemon juice causes any itching or discomfort then remove it instantly.



  1. Neem leaves – 5


  • Take five fresh neem leaves and blend them.
  • Add water to make thick neem paste.
  • Now apply the neem paste to lip pimple and gently massage it.
  • Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  • Wash it off with lukewarm water and pat dry.
  • Follow this remedy twice daily.
The pimples will dry out within three days.

Neem leaves have antibacterial, astringent and antiviral properties. Hence it is used to cure various skin infections including a lip pimple. It also removes excess oil from the skin and makes it clear.



  1. Castor oil – 1 tablespoon
  2. Eucalyptus oil – 1-2 drops


  • Add 1 tablespoon of castor oil and 2 drops of eucalyptus oil into a small bowl.
  • Mix the ingredients well.
  • Now apply a drop of oil-mix on the lip pimple and the area around it.
  • Leave it on overnight.
  • Repeat this each night before going to bed.
Castor oil purifies the pores by removing the impurities in it. Its antibacterial properties inhibit the growth of bacteria and speed up the relieving process of lip pimple.



  1. Tomato – 1


  • Take a fresh tomato and chop it into small pieces.
  • Blend it well to form a thick paste.
  • Apply a few drops of this pulp to a lip pimple.
  • Allow it to dry for 10-15 minutes.
  • Wash it off and pat dry.
  • Repeat this 2-3 times a day till lip pimple dries up.
Tomato is rich in organic acids that contain antimicrobial properties. It also contains vitamin c which repairs the damaged skin cells.



  1. Hot water


  • Boil a pot full of water and then, pour it into a large bowl.
  • Place your face above the bowl.
  • Hold a thick towel over your head to catch the steam.
  • After 10-15 minutes remove the towel and pat skin dry.
  • Repeat this process two-three times in a day for 4-5 days to reduce lip pimple.
It also makes your skin cleaner and glowing.

Steam helps to open the blocked pores and this helps the skin to breathe. All the bacteria, dirt and oil present in the skin will be flushed out.

Preventive measures:

  1. Drink plenty of water – Always stay hydrated to keep your lips healthy.
